It’s designed to be a crowd pleasing blend by offering the best seasonal coffees that give clean flavours with great acidity. You should be able to drink this black, with minimal to no bitterness with a long finish. Our drummerboy consists of a Washed Mexican – Oaxaca, a Beautiful washed Colombia – Tolima estate to give a overall creamy full bodied mouthfeel with the sweet and floral complexities of the natural Ethiopian coffee shining through to give the drink a nice rich and sweet finish. Mexico – Oaxaca – Washed Process Ethiopia – Fulasa Gesha – Grade 1 Natural Process Our Grandmaster blend is a collective of our top lots available out of our roastery and we don’t just mean our favourites. These coffees have been carefully hand sorted after processing at origin to contain less than 3% minor defects per 100g. Indian washed, Our Grandmaster blend was created specifically to provide a beautiful rich creamy caramel, milk chocolate and full bodied experience to shine through the milk using the Mexican washed process while bringing in those lovely sweet, fruit, floral complexities of the natural Ethiopian grade 1 Natural process coffee.

(1KG) DECAF - COLOMBIA - TOLIMA - SUGAR CANE PROCESS - WHOLE BEANS
NOTES: BOLD CREAMY MILK CHOCOLATE, RICH CARAMELS, SWEET FRUITY FLAVOURS AND RED BERRY FINISH. The process of decaffeination starts when green beans are put in separate chambers in order to have better control over the process. Coffee then is transported through a funnel to start the pre-treatment stage, then it enters the steam chamber. This part of the process helps to remove the silver skin from the bean. After this, the beans are submerged in spring water. Once the coffee is saturated with water, it is sent to the extractors where the beans have direct contact with sugar cane ethyl acetate (E.A.) during 8 hours, which dissolves the caffeine content. Then the decaffeinated coffee is dried in a chamber with controlled temperature to reach the same moisture content which it had prior to the process. After the processed and coffee is dried, the beans are transported through a funnel to get them back to their bags. This process is monitoring by the Descafecol team in order to maintain traceability of the product.

The 2 stunning coffees from Mexico and Ethiopia is a mixture of Natural Ethiopia an a Washed Mexican which leaves a well rounded, balanced coffee blend containing the right amount of sweetness, body and acidity to keep wanting more.
