Origin: Colombia + Ethiopia Region: La Plata, Huila + Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia Varietal: Caturra, Colombia, Heirloom Ethiopian Varieties. Process: Washed Altitude: 1900-2200 MASL Summer! What we’ve all been waiting for. A juicy fruit bomb, easy drinking summer vibes. A 50/50 blend of Colombia and Ethiopia, this time, both washed for maximum, clean tropical juice! The Colombian component is a light, juicy and fruit driven from an exception group of small producers in La Plata, Huila, sourced and blended by the inimitable Pergamino Coffee. A small, very high altitude region in Huila bordering Inza, Cauca. Both famed regions for producing exceptional, fruit forward coffees. The Ethiopian component is grown and processed by Kayon Mountain farm. A large organic estate regularly producing some of our favourite coffee to come out of Ethiopia. We have bought it before and we will buy it again, for a simple reason; it’s delicious! Ismael Hassen Aredo and his family employ 25 full time employees and hundreds of seasonal staff at comparatively high wages to compete with the surrounding mining industry. Although a conflicting narrative, another small insight into the influential and ultimately ethical role that coffee production can play in our developing world. The positive influence these producers can have on the environment and economy is the reason we continue to be so invested in coffee, its people and production! In the cup it tastes of juicy yellow fruit, citrus and chocolatey, toffee praline, with an elegant tea-like body and florals. It’s going to be exceptional black, and a fruity cup of tea with milk. THE BEST.

Decaf 1kg
A sweet and fruity, easy-drinking decaf espresso. Expect flavours of cooked cherry and toffee, with a smooth pear praline character when paired with milk. It took us a long time to find a decaf that met our standards—but this one from Elias Roas renowned for his work with Tim Wendelboe, was worth the wait. Grown at his farm Finca Tamana in Acevedo, Huila, Colombia, and meticulously sorted and decaffeinated. We knew we had to get this coffee in the roaster as soon as we tasted it. I can comfortably say it's worth the pretty penny we pay for the privilege! Now it’s a go-to choice for both our customers and staff, especially in the afternoon. Enjoy it black or with milk—and if you like a heavier cup, it brews beautifully as a filter coffee too.
