Cut Lunch Deli, Sydney: “Only a few of our suppliers are not on Ordermentum"

Cut Lunch Deli is a sandwich shop on the Clovelly/Randwick border, opened by former Quay pastry chef Libby Dunlop after she couldn't find a decent sanga in the eastern suburbs. We spoke with Libby about running a small business as a sole owner, and how Ordermentum became one of the easiest parts of the job.

For a sole owner, every second is precious.

"Essentially with small business, particularly being a sole owner, a lot of it, especially early on, was simply about what took the least amount of time. That's why we used Ordermentum, because it was all there.".

"I had no time when I first opened. I was working seven days a week in the kitchen the whole time, and I could get all my key suppliers on there. Only a few of our suppliers are not on Ordermentum."

Cut Lunch Deli recently launched Dough Day, a frozen, pre-portioned cookie dough product, and Ordermentum is behind the scenes making it possible.

"We just launched a frozen, pre-portioned cookie dough product that lives in the freezer, called Dough Day. All our goods, dry goods, butter, everything — we order through Ordermentum to make that happen, which makes it really easy."
