At Mrs Matcha we source our tea leaves from the finest organic tea fields on the island of Kyushu. A historic tea cultivating region dating back to the 1200’s in the southern end of Japan. Kyushu is an optimal location for growing organic tea leaves because of its stable climate, fresh pristine river waters, fertile soil and remoteness from urban development. These key factors mean our leaves are more resiliently green and full of nutrients. The quality of the matcha tea depends predominately on the region of cultivation that’s why we have ensured we source our leaves from the finest farm worldwide.
