The business has remained in the Stone family for six generations. Dick Stone was a pioneer of the introduction of refrigeration within in their butcher shops. The company was also the first cattle grower to introduce grain fed beef into Australia under the banner of Oakleigh Holdings at Canowindra, in central West NSW. The company has always remained at the forefront of innovation and technology with processing and packaging.
