Best Practice - Your Catalogue

Your product catalogue is where interest turns into action, and a few simple tweaks can make a big impact on how you show up, get found, and get chosen.

Here’s how to optimise your product catalogue for findability and conversion.

Category Images

Use high-quality, relevant photos that reflect what’s in each category. Clean, professional images help venues navigate your range quickly and build trust.

Pro tip: Instead of a branding image or a logo, match your category image to the type of products you sell  (e.g. coffee, baked goods, cups & lids)

Product Images

Your products deserve the spotlight. Use clear, well-lit photos that show the actual item. This is especially important if you sell packaged items.

Avoid overdesigning or using placeholder logos. Buyers want to see what they’re getting.

Pro tip: The clearer the image, the better the conversion rate.

Product Descriptions

Make your product descriptions easy to understand to remove any friction around ordering. Include key info like:

  • RPR (recommended retail price)
  • Shelf life
  • Ingredients
  • Allergen info
  • Pack size or unit details

Pro tip: Clear descriptions reduce questions, cut back-and-forth, and give venues the confidence to order.

Featured Products

Select the products you want to showcase by making them as ‘Featured’ in your product settings. These products will then show up in your ‘Featured’ category.

Highlight Badges

Use highlight badges to call attention to:

  • On Special
  • Best Buy
  • Staff Pick
  • New
  • In Season

Highlight badges help products stand out at a glance, giving you a low-effort way to guide customers to what’s fresh, trending or high-margin.

If you need help auditing your profile or refreshing your product photos, your Success Manager will be more than happy to help you.
