Payments - Send An Email To Your Customers
If your customers are ordering through Ordermentum, it’s time to get them to start paying with automated payments.
To make this easy for you, we’ve provided the email template below to give your customers a clear, simple way to set up credit card payments without changing their terms.
Payment through Ordermentum reduces late payments, admin, and follow-ups, and opens up your cash flow.
When to send this email
Ideally, send this within 1–2 weeks of going live. Your customers will already be familiar with placing orders, so this is one more easy step. You can also send this email whenever you have a customer not paying you through the Ordermentum platform.
Just copy, paste, and hit send — it’s a small step that delivers big benefits.

When you set up automatic credit card and direct debit (from your bank account) payments:
✔ Your payment terms still apply
✔ Your account is charged automatically on the due date

What you need to do
- Open the Ordermentum app
- Go to Settings
- Go to Payment Methods
- Add a new payment method
